Teaching has a structure: areas, subjects, levels.
Year 2 Maths is a precise thing: its teachers, its live room, its books, its assessments. Courses use it; the subject remains the source of truth for the whole academy.
- Areas → subjects → levels with teachers
- Permanent live room per subject and level
- Textbooks inherited by courses
- Lesson coverage and assessments per subject

One subject, many courses
The course ↔ subject link lives on the subject: assigning a subject to a lesson declares it in the course, and the course sees at once if a subject is uncovered.
Teachers per level
The area owner is host, level teachers are co-hosts in the rooms and get invited to the courses teaching that subject.
Permanent room
Every subject and level has a room with a stable link: lessons from different courses converge, the lobby shows who is there.
Books per subject and level
Textbooks link to the subject; courses inherit them and lessons assign the pages.

Coverage in the course
How many lessons per subject, which levels, which teachers. A subject declared and never used turns amber: "Assign to lessons".
Assessments per subject
The subject page has an Assessments tab: every exam of that subject across courses, with grading status.
ARIA knows the structure
Ask "add Luca as Latin Year 2 teacher" or "link Latin Grammar to the subject": ARIA proposes and you approve.

Elena is already a member of the Humanities area. She becomes co-host of the Latin Year 2 room and teacher in the course that teaches it; the book goes to the level and the course inherits it. Shall I confirm?
How to set it up
- 1
Draw areas and subjects
Humanities, sciences, languages: inside, the subjects with their levels.
- 2
Assign teachers and books
Per level: teachers become co-hosts, books reach the courses.
- 3
Use the subject in lessons
From the builder or the calendar: the lesson has the subject, the course declares it.
